Responsible Gaming
What do we stand for when it comes to play?
Sudbury Casino exists for entertainment. Slots, live tables and video poker should stay a pastime you control. They are never a fix for bills, debt or a bad week.
We provide tools, look out for warning signs and act when your play seems risky. Your settings remain under your control.
Which limits can I set?
Go to your account settings to cap how much goes in and how much goes on the line:
- Deposit limit: the most you can put into your account in a single day, week or month.
- Wager limit: a maximum for all the bets you place across a period of your choosing.
- Stake limit: the highest amount allowed on any one spin, hand or round.
Set one, two or all three. They apply across every game in the lobby.
How do reality checks and session alerts work?
Choose how often you want a reality check, and it appears on screen right on schedule. You see how much time this session has lasted, plus your net result since login. Then pick: keep going, view your history or log out.
Time alerts sit alongside them. Choose a session length and we tell you the moment you reach it.
What if I want a short pause?
A cooling-off break freezes your account for whatever length you pick, between one day and six weeks. No deposits, no play and no promotional messages until it ends. When the break finishes, your account opens again automatically.
What if I need to stop completely?
Self-exclusion is meant for a longer break. While it is in place, we block access, remove you from every offer, including Sudbury Rewards, and keep the account closed for the full period, regardless of any reason given.
You may also request that your account be closed for good. We pay any real-money balance left on it to a verified withdrawal method in your name.
Why do you check ID and location before I deposit?
No deposit goes through until your ID and play location have been checked, and play is permitted only from approved locations. That way, excluded players and minors stay out entirely. Full rules sit in our KYC & AML Policy.
Is my gambling still under control?
Try the self-assessment quiz in the Responsible Gaming area of your account. It uses short, direct questions on how you play. Your responses are kept private and show you clearly where you stand.
Watch for these signs:
- Chasing losses with bigger or faster bets.
- Playing with money meant for rent, food or other essentials.
- Hiding play from family or friends.
- Getting restless or short-tempered when you are away from the games.
Notice these warning signs? Add a limit or take a cooling-off break now.
Who offers free, confidential support?
These organisations help players and families at no cost:
- Gambling Therapy
- GameSense
- YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program
- Kindbridge Behavioral Health
- Gamblers Anonymous
When do limit changes kick in?
A lower limit applies straight away. Increasing a limit or removing it altogether takes 24 hours. This fixed delay gives you time to be certain before the change applies.
How do you keep minors from playing?
Sudbury Casino is for players 19+ only. We confirm age before any deposit, and accounts that turn out to belong to minors are closed. The checks, plus tips for parents and shared devices, are set out in our 19+ Policy.
How do I reach the team?
